From 300px to 8-Meter Screens:
Engineering an Omnichannel DOOH Campaign

  • Result: A matrix of pixel-perfect creatives covering 100% of digital surfaces without losing premium quality.

The Challenge: The Threat of Visual Entropy

A classic event marketing scenario: campaign scale outpaces asset readiness. I needed to cover over 10 digital formats — from giant outdoor DOOH screens with non-standard proportions (4x8m, 3x6m) to vertical SMM materials (Instagram Reels, Post 4:5).

The only available source was a single static PSD mockup in critically low resolution. The risk was obvious: forced scaling would turn the background structure into a pixelated blur, while cropping would destroy the focal point and violate strict social media safe zones.

Solution Architecture: The Deconstruction Method

I rejected blind resizing and built a scalable procedural pipeline, dividing the work into three engineering phases:

  • Spatial Reconstruction (AI-Outpainting): Ultra-vertical formats physically lacked background height. Instead of cropping, I used generative fill to construct the sky and foreground textures, keeping the proportions of the central architectural object intact.

  • Seamless Loop Injection (Dynamic Integration): Outdoor static images are ignored by the pedestrian’s brain. I transitioned the composition into 2.5D space. The focal subject in the foreground was separated onto a clean plate, receiving new spatial dynamics. The central light source was animated to create a continuous, looping light pulse that breaks through banner blindness.

  • Resolution Architecture (AI-Upscaling): The master files were processed through a neural network engine (Topaz Video AI). This extracted texture details up to 4K, ensuring crystal-clear sharpness on both street billboards and smartphone Retina displays. Typography and partner logos were redesigned strictly according to the UI safe zones of each platform.

The Result: From Files to Business Arsenal

Instead of one "stretched" file, the client received a comprehensive matrix of adaptive creatives. Each video asset was technically optimized for its platform: from heavy-duty files for DOOH players to lightweight, sharp MP4s for targeted ads.
